INVITATION TO EXHIBITION

“Mørketid” is the Norwegian term denoting the total darkness polar areas experience in winter, when the sun never rises above the horizon. The polar night is the opposite of the midnight sun the people of Tromsø experience during summer. For the invitation I used midnight blue to illustrate the darkness and create a “horizon”. The zeros in 2009 may recall a solar eclipse.
